Health-related texts from your clinic.

If your clinic enrolls you in Helose messaging, these terms apply. Your clinic sends the messages. Helose runs the technology for them.

Emergency notice

Not for emergencies. If you are having a medical emergency, call 911 or your clinic's emergency line. Do not rely on text messages for urgent care.

At a glance

Please note in particular.

  • You may receive health-related texts from your clinic through Helose: check-ins between visits, reorder nudges, and links to secure pages when more detail is needed.

  • Agreeing to receive these texts is not required to receive care at your clinic.

  • Message frequency varies.

  • Clinic staff approve the outbound playbook once (fixed list of approved messages). Helose runs those texts on schedule. Staff can stop or change the playbook anytime.

  • Helose stores messages encrypted. On your phone, a text may show on the lock screen, and a standard cellular text may not be encrypted end to end.

  • If you opt in, you accept the privacy risks of text messaging, including lock-screen previews.

  • Keep your phone private and password-protected. Tell your clinic if your number changes.

  • Reply STOP to opt out. Reply HELP for help. Not for emergencies: call 911 or your clinic's emergency line.

  • Message and data rates may apply. Your clinic's Notice of Privacy Practices governs your health information.

These Messaging Terms describe Helose's patient texting channel. They are not a substitute for your clinic's Notice of Privacy Practices or informed consent for care. This is not legal advice.
